VR makes me feel sick. Is this something for me?

No worries! All our VR experiences and VR escape rooms are chosen and built so that motion sickness won't happen. Motion sickness is normally caused by poor VR systems (hardware and software), and we put a lot of value on quality, on your health and on your safety! Even if you do feel sick or unwell here for some other reason, you can use our Fun guarantee and stop within the first 10 minutes without paying.

Is this a team game? Can we see each other in VR?

Yes, you see and hear each other in our VR escape rooms and VR adventure worlds. Most of the time you'll have to work together to get any further. In the VR adventure worlds there are also titles that are played individually, where you can't see each other, but there you can play for points and swap stories about it afterwards.

I'm afraid of heights. Are these experiences something for me?

You'll always feel the floor under your feet, you're 100% safe, but your head may tell you otherwise. The VR escape rooms, above all the Pyramid Room, are challenging if you're afraid of heights. But it's all the more worth it once you get past the fear! If your fear of heights is strong, we'd rather point you to our classic rooms. In the VR adventure worlds titles that play with heights can be left out, just say so to your game master when you get here.

How many people can play together?

There are 4 VR stations.

Ubisoft's VR escape rooms can only be played with an even number of players. That means you play as a team of 2 or a team of 4. If someone in a team of 4 drops out at short notice and you can't find a replacement, the game master can step in as the fourth player, or you can switch to a different room.

ArviVR's VR escape rooms allow 2 to 4 players in the same game, so they're ideal for a larger group or an odd number of players.

The  VR adventure worlds offer games for 2 to 4 players, either cooperative or against each other.

Another option would be to play linked up at the same time across our other locations:
Escape Hannover
Escape Nienburg

I wear glasses. Does that work with the VR headset?

Our comfortable and fairly light VR headsets are generally fine if you wear glasses. If your normal glasses are unusually large, we'd still suggest contact lenses for your own comfort.

Is there anything I should keep in mind because of the headset?

We'd suggest comfortable shoes, loose clothing and no pinned-up hairstyles or headwear of any kind. Contact lenses rather than glasses are also a good idea, especially with large frames.

Are there any restrictions or age limits?

Ubisoft's VR escape rooms (Pyramid Room and Medusa Room) aren't suitable for anyone shorter than 150 cm. For all VR escape rooms a player should also be able to move, walk, grip, speak and hear.
We also do not recommend the VR escape rooms for kids under 10, although a lot depends on the child, on hand and body size and on how creatively they solve the puzzles. For groups made up only of kids aged 10-14 we recommend our VR options for kids: Christmas Room, VR adventure worlds and Jungle Quest.
The VR adventure worlds have age limits that the game master switches on here, so only the titles the parents are happy with can be selected for kids and teenagers.
