Three formats for different stag and hen groups
1. Classic stag or hen do, small group (2-8 people)
The standard format for the close circle of bridesmaids or the best man’s crew. One room, 60 minutes of playing time, then a group success photo and a debrief. Perfect as an activity block before dinner or after the breakfast meet-up.
Good for: the close wedding crew, best man and maid of honour + bride or groom + friends

2. Combo Mode, large stag or hen group of 8 to 38 people
If the whole bridesmaid crew plus the circle of friends plus the cousins are coming along: 2 to 6 rooms in parallel at the same start time. With our 6-room combo even large wedding groups of up to 38 people can play in one go, and we compare the times between the teams at the end, which works brilliantly with a small bet.

3. Multi-activity day, escape room as the highlight
The classic for stag and hen dos in Leipzig: escape room in the afternoon as the activity highlight, then off into the city together, to the Karli (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, the student nightlife strip), Auerbachs Keller (the Goethe and Faust tradition), the Marktplatz or Drallewatsch (the bar quarter). From the Thomaskirchhof you can walk to all of it in 5-15 minutes.

How it works, from the booking to the evening in town
1. Ask for a slot. Up to 8 people or without special requests, book straight online via the list of available times. For large stag and hen groups of 8 people or more, or if the rest of the day needs coordinating, just drop us a line at info@escapeleipzig.de or call 0341 21 82 9494, we’re happy to answer.
2. Pick a room. Five classic rooms, Detective Room with Dr. Seltsam, Leipziger Dungeon, Operation Pussycat, Harry's School of Magic, Bitcoin Verschwörung (expert room, every player individually from 14 years old). Plus ten VR escape rooms.
3. On the day. Be on time at Burgstraße 2 by the Thomaskirchhof, and bring your party T-shirts and vendor tray for before and after the game if you like. Cloakroom, welcome, briefing (15 min), 60 minutes of playing time.
4. Success photo and debrief. A photo in front of the Escape Leipzig logo. We’ll make the photo available to you digitally.
5. Off into town. 5-15 minutes on foot to restaurants, bars, the Karli (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, the student nightlife strip with plenty of bars) and Auerbachs Keller. With our Escape & Eat offer you’ll get a free soft drink per main course at our partner restaurants.

Frequently asked questions about stag and hen parties
How many people can take part?
In a single room, 2 to 8 people, depending on the room. With our Combo Mode, 8 to 38 people play in parallel at the same start time (2-room combo 8-14, 3-room 15-20, 4-room 20-26, 5-room 26-32, 6-room 32-38), which is ideal for large stag and hen groups. That makes Escape Leipzig the largest escape room centre in the region.
Which room suits our stag or hen do?
For stag and hen groups we recommend the rooms with the highest fun factor: Harry's School of Magic (magic setting, good for mixed groups), the Detective Room (detective adventure with Dr. Seltsam) or the Leipziger Dungeon (medieval escape, very atmospheric). Bitcoin Verschwörung is an expert room (every player individually from 14), ideal if you already have escape room experience. VR escape rooms are the highlight for anyone into tech.
When in the day does the slot make sense?
We recommend the escape room as an activity block late in the morning (11:00) or in the afternoon (15:00-17:00). The advantage: an escape room works much better sober than after the third beer, and 60 minutes of puzzling under time pressure is demanding. Plan the drinking for afterwards on the Karli or in Auerbachs Keller, not before.
Can we combine it with a vendor tray or the usual party games?
Inside the escape room it’s all about concentrated puzzling, so a vendor tray or task cards would get in the way, while party T-shirts are no problem at all. But before and after the escape room you have the whole of Leipzig city centre. A classic run of the day: party games around town in the morning, then the escape room as the highlight in the afternoon, then a restaurant and bars in the evening (Karli, student quarter, Auerbachs Keller).
What does a stag or hen do at Escape Leipzig cost?
In Combo Mode (from 8 people) a flat 33 € per person. Smaller groups in a single room: 106 € (2 p) to 264 € (8 p) in total. Pay on the day (cash, EC, card, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay) or from a group kitty, the group decides. We can also issue one invoice for the whole group to the best man if you’d like.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Up to 8 people or without special requests, book straight online, and standard slots for 2-6 people often work at short notice. For large stag and hen groups of 8 people or more we recommend 2-4 weeks’ lead time, as popular Saturday slots in the high season (May to September) are often booked out quickly. Can we take photos while we’re with you?
Yes, at the end we take a success photo in front of the Escape Leipzig logo. You’ll get it digitally as a group and it’s perfect material for the wedding slideshow. Your own phone photos aren’t allowed inside the playing room (no spoilers), but in the entrance area, in the VR lobby and outside at the Thomaskirchhof you can take as many photos as you like.
