The Detective Room with Dr. Seltsam, Leipziger Dungeon (a medieval escape), Operation Pussycat (a science lab), Harry's School of Magic (magic and spells) and Bitcoin Verschwörung (the expert room, every player books individually from age 14). 60 minutes of puzzle fun as a team.

Story-driven escape rooms in virtual reality with licensed titles from Ubisoft (Escape the Lost Pyramid, Beyond Medusa’s Gate) and ArviVR (Mission Sigma, Jungle Quest, Christmas, Alice, Traumjäger). Newly opened in April 2026: Frozen Castle, The Prison and Escape The Worlds XXL, an XXL format with 10 different worlds and 90-120 min of playing time. Standard VR escape rooms run for 60 minutes.

What can you do in Leipzig when it rains?
When the weather's bad, an escape room or a VR adventure at Escape Leipzig is the ideal indoor activity, completely weatherproof, at the Thomaskirchhof, Burgstraße 2, right in the city centre. Unlike an indoor playground or bowling, you'll come away with a real experience and stories to tell.
Does it work for a date or for couples?
Yes, it works particularly well. Solving puzzles together for 60 minutes under time pressure tells you more about the other person than three evenings in a restaurant. For couples we'd suggest Harry's School of Magic or the Pussycat room, both bookable from 2 people (106 € in total).
Are we too old for this?
Definitely not. Our standard rooms work from an average group age of 14 and there's no upper limit. We've had groups of 70-year-olds who had a brilliant time. What matters isn't the age, it's being willing to get into the game.
What does an escape room cost as a day out?
From 33 € per person in Combo Mode (8+ people). Small groups: 106 € (2 p) to 264 € (8 p) in total. A fair price for 80 minutes of adventure and a memory that lasts.
Can we just turn up or do we have to book?
Spontaneous bookings are possible. For slots less than 72 hours before the start, it's best to use our short-notice request form. To be sure of a slot, especially at the weekend, we'd recommend 1-2 weeks' lead time. Last-minute slots are often listed in the overview of available slots.
