Three formats for different birthday group sizes
1. Small group, close circle of friends (2-8 people)
The standard format for your closest friends on your birthday: one room, 60 minutes of playing time, then a group success photo. Perfect before a meal together, or as the warm-up for the birthday evening.
Good for: best friends, a small family group, a birthday date for two

2. Medium-sized group, birthday with your circle of friends (8-20 people)
When the wider circle of friends comes along: the 2-room or 3-room Combo Mode with 2-3 rooms in parallel. Everyone starts at the same time, each team plays its own adventure, and at the end you compare your times, ideal with a small bet between the teams.
Good for: wider circles of friends, a family celebration with relatives, a milestone birthday

3. Large group, milestone birthday (21-38 people)
When the whole family plus colleagues plus friends are there: the 4-room, 5-room or 6-room Combo Mode with up to 6 rooms in parallel. With our 6-room Combo, milestone birthdays of up to 38 people work in a single run, which is unique in the region.
Good for: milestone birthdays (50th, 60th, 70th), big family celebrations

What age do you recommend for a birthday at Escape Leipzig?
Our standard rooms are recommended from the age of 14 (the average age of the group). The Bitcoin Verschwörung is an expert room, where every player individually has to be 14 or older. For under-14s our children’s birthday page is the right one, with its own Kids Specials. For adult birthdays there’s no upper age limit.
How many people can join in on the birthday?
In a single room 2 to 8 people, depending on the room. With Combo Mode 8 to 38 people in parallel, and with our 6-room Combo milestone birthdays of up to 38 people work in a single run. That makes Escape Leipzig the largest centre in the region.
What does a birthday at Escape Leipzig cost?
In Combo Mode 33 € per person. Smaller groups in a single room: 106 € (2p) to 264 € (8p). You can pay individually or all together in one go. And the birthday guest of honour gets a small surprise from us afterwards.
Can we bring cake or sparkling wine?
In the entrance and waiting area you can cut a cake or hand round a glass of sparkling wine, we’ve got a small table and a few chairs for that. The area isn’t built for a long celebration though, so for that we recommend our Escape & Eat partner restaurants (a free soft drink with every main course) or one of the cafés at Marktplatz (1-2 min on foot). No food or drink inside the game room itself.
How much notice do we need to book?
Up to 8 people or without special requests, book directly online through the list of available slots; standard bookings often work at short notice. For weekend evening slots we recommend 1-2 weeks’ notice. With special requests (a large group, coordinating a restaurant) just write to info@escapeleipzig.de, we’re happy to answer. Cancellations are free up to 48h beforehand.
What do we do after the escape room?
From the Thomaskirchhof you’re 5-15 minutes on foot from everything that matters, restaurants, bars, the Karli student quarter, Auerbachs Keller. With our Escape & Eat offer you’ll get a free soft drink with every main course at our partner restaurants.
