Escape room and eating out in Leipzig
First the puzzles, then the food. After your escape room, one of our partner restaurants is waiting just around the corner. Show your ESCAPE receipt from the same day before you order and mention the offer, and everyone in the group will get a simple soft drink (about 0.3l of Cola, Fanta, Sprite or water) free with their main course. It works a bit like an escape dinner: first the crime or detective case, then everyone round the table together. Please book the table yourself directly with the restaurant, and it's best to ring ahead, especially if there are a few of you.
Participating restaurants:
Deliberately mixed, from cheap and quick to upmarket. That way every group finds something that suits them.
1. Restaurant Goldberg
Modern German cooking with regional ingredients, right by the Thomaskirchhof. A changing lunch menu at midday, coffee and cake in the afternoon. The more upmarket end of our selection.
2. Pizzeria il Corso
Stone oven pizza, pasta and sandwiches, a few steps further along the Burgstraße. The cheapest in our selection, and the pizza is genuinely good.
3. Maison Viet Restaurant
Vietnamese cooking with sushi and plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes, in the Gottschedstraße. In the evening it's a cocktail bar too. Mid-range on price.
4. Bachstüb’l Leipzig an der Thomaskirche
Right below us in the same building, so the shortest walk there is. Regional cooking with classics like the Leipziger Lerche, in historic vaults, parts of which date back to the 16th century. Mid-range on price.
5. Syndeo Restaurant at the INNSiDE by Meliá
Mediterranean cooking with tapas and Spanish classics in the Gottschedstraße, inside the INNSiDE hotel. In the evening it's a bar and lounge as well, and price-wise it's at the upper end too. The free drink applies here in the Syndeo Restaurant, not in the Bar Cabana on the 6th floor.
