At Escape Leipzig, 2-38 people play in 5 classic themed rooms and 10 VR escape rooms right by the Thomaskirche. Choose between first-class classic puzzle rooms, stunning digital VR escape rooms or a range of VR experiences. Or combine the classic with the digital for something that is entirely yours.

Put all your senses to the test, crack our tricky puzzles and grow together as a team. And yes, all our rooms can be played in English, with the odd German word cropping up here and there. But watch out: the clock is ticking!

With us you will find five one-of-a-kind themed rooms in Leipzig: the detective adventure with Dr. Seltsam, the escape from the Leipziger Dungeon, Operation Pussycat in the secret lab, the trials of Harry's School of Magic and the demanding Bitcoin Verschwörung, a crime story for seasoned players. Plus VR escape rooms like Alice im Wunderland, Pyramid Room, Medusa, Mission Sigma, Frozen Castle, The Prison and Escape The Worlds.

The right experience for every occasion: children's birthday party, birthday celebrations, stag or hen parties, team building & company outings, Christmas parties, school trips or simply things to do in Leipzig. Also for large groups of up to 38 people.

Book now and find out why we're the first choice for team building and adventure in Leipzig, with our fun guarantee: no fun, no money. After 10 minutes you can stop at no cost.

Friends and families

Escape is as much for friends as it is for the whole family. Cracking clever puzzles as a team with friends or colleagues, or simply enjoying the company of the people closest to you in surroundings that keep surprising you. It's a rather special day out in Sachsen, right in the centre of Leipzig. After 60 puzzling minutes the city of Leipzig gives you plenty of ways to round off the day. Looking for something just for the little ones, a kids' birthday or a children's party? Then head here for the “Dr. Seltsam Kids Special”.

Fancy a meal together afterwards? Then our Escape To Eat offer might be just the thing.

Companies and teams

Escape rooms are a great way to strengthen a team through play. Our team event in Leipzig calls for ideas, creativity and a knack for solving things, and just as much for being a good team player. Everyone gets to contribute and everyone adds to the result. Our escape room in Sachsen is an original way to freshen up the mood at work, whether as a team building day, a Christmas party or any other company celebration. Take the chance to pick up some real insights and have team escape fun at the same time! Large groups from 8 to 38 people can find more info here, and for more than 38 people, please send an enquiry here!

Tourists, travellers and holidaymakers

Have you had a look around Leipzig already and you're after an escape room for your team? Then you've come to the right place at Escape Leipzig. For tourists, travellers and holidaymakers we don't just offer a glimpse of a few Leipzig details (in the Detective Room, for instance), we also offer a lively alternative to the usual programme, right in the centre of Leipzig, opposite the Bach monument and the Thomaskirche. Our escape room works nicely as the start of an evening out, too. We're glad to point you towards good sights and other things to do in Leipzig. Team escape fun guaranteed!

Stag and hen parties

Ready for married life? We'll put the chains on you beforehand. All in play, of course, and with plenty of fun together. Let's see whether you can get yourselves out of our escape room.

After the stag or hen party comes the real party. Groomondo and other sites will help you with everything else around your big day.

At Escape Leipzig, schools, clubs and institutions can do all of that. Our rooms can be played in English too, so you can brush up your language skills along the way. Ideal for school trips that are fun and still count as learning. Also worth a look for clubs and institutions that want to strengthen their team with something out of the ordinary. Team building the fun way.  Large groups from 8 to 38 people can find more info here, and for more than 38 people, please send an enquiry here!

Looking for a gift idea

Looking for a special gift idea? Then you've come to the right place at Escape Leipzig. Under “Vouchers” you can put together a personal voucher for an escape room game, for the people you love or for friends. You can secure a slot right away under “Book a slot”, or let the people you are treating decide for themselves. An escape room voucher from us is always a good present.

What is a live escape room?

Hands-on puzzle adventures, experienced together.
As a team you race the clock in themed rooms, find hidden objects, solve clever puzzles and uncover secrets found nowhere else. Become part of a journey for all the senses and live through an adventurous story in 60 minutes, with the ending in your own hands. More info HERE.

Your safety matters to us.
The thrill of an escape room is finding the final key or completing the final task within 60 minutes. All the way through, you and your team are looked after by a game master on video and audio who can step in at any point. All our rooms have emergency systems. They let players leave the room at any time, under their own steam.

What does virtual reality (VR) mean here?

VR escape rooms and more, experienced together
As a team, let yourselves in for adventures in fantastic worlds that burst the limits of space and time.
Linked, comfortable VR systems for up to 4 people at once make exciting escape rooms and other astonishing adventure worlds possible within 60 minutes. More info HERE.

From what age can you play here?

Our escape rooms suit mixed groups of any age. Families or friends with at least 2–3 adults along can bring a matching number of children. The average age of the group shouldn't drop much below 14. Under-10s play free of charge, but each one needs an adult with them in the room.

Groups of children on their own:
From the age of 10, several of our escape rooms work well for groups of children on their own, see the Kids Specials. For 10 to 15 year olds an adult has to come along to keep an eye on things (free of charge); from 16 they can play unaccompanied.

Do you have flyers?

Yes! You're welcome to pick one up here (there's a flyer box outside by the entrance) or download our flyers here:
